Ch 3 Inequalities
This chapter is similar to Ch 2 Equations such that you use the same solving skills. The main difference is you graph your solution set on a number line.
3.1 & 3.2 Lesson Notes
These are the notes for both of these lessons.
3.1 Graphing Inequalities
This is the basics of graphing inequalities.
3.2 Solving Inequalities Using Addition/Subtraction
This is just like solving equations, however you graph your solution set.
3.3 Lesson Notes
Here are the notes for lesson 3.3.
3.3 Solving Inequalities Using Multiplication/Division
You solve these just like you would solve equations. The only difference is when you multiply or divide by a negative number you must flip your inequality in the solution.
3.4 Lesson Notes
Here are the notes for lesson 3.4
3.4 Solving Two-Step Inequalities
Solve these inequalities just like you would two-step equations.
3.5 Lesson Notes Day 1
This is part of lesson 3.5
3.5 Lesson Notes Day 2
Here is the rest of the lesson 3.5
3.5 Solving Inequalities With Variables on Both Sides
Solve these just like you would equations with variables on both sides.
3.5 Solving Inequalities With Variables on Both Sides Special Cases
These are your special cases just you the ones from Chapter 2.
3.6 Lesson Notes Day 1
I just cover "AND" compound inequalities.
3.6 Lesson Notes Day 2
Here I cover "OR" compound inequalities and how to write a compound inequality given it's graph.
3.6 Solving Compound Inequalities "AND"
Solving compound inequalities is similar to solving compound equations.
3.7 Lesson Notes Day 1
In this video I cover how to solve less than and greater than absolute value inequalities.
3.7 Lesson Notes Day 2
In this video I show how to solve a word problem and the special case absolute value inequalities.
